Say YES to Alito!
Tell your Senators to CONFIRM Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court Last week, liberals tried their old smear tactics on Bush-appointee, Samuel Alito. The Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings where Democrats unsuccessfully tried to portray him as a racist, bigoted, unqualified judge. Judge Alito consistently held his own and remained virtually unflappable furthering our confidence in his judicial ability. During the hearings, Eagle Forum participated in supporting this nominee by welcoming him each morning before the hearing, mobilizing volunteers, rallying in support at the Supreme Court, and attending the hearings.
Judge Alito has more judicial experience than any Supreme Court nominee in the past 70 years and has decided more than 1,500 complicated constitutional, civil and criminal disputes! The Senate unanimously confirmed Alito by a voice vote to the Court of Appeals in 1990. Judge Alito's record is one of judicial restraint and strict constitutionalism. His confirmation is critical to stopping in judicial activism.
The Senate should vote Judge Alito out of the Senate Judiciary Committee and CONFIRM him by the full Senate!
Urge a YES vote for Alito!
