  • Grassley Amendment — allow streamlined visa revocations for terrorists
Eagle Forum urge a YES vote

  • Inhofe Amendment — declares English as our official national language
Eagle Forum urges a YES vote
We are hearing that some Senators want to water-down the Inhofe Official English Amendment. Outrageous! Over 85% of Americans want English declared as our official language (Rasmussen Poll, June 2006).
  • Take Action

The Senate will likely vote on the Cornyn, Vitter, and Grassley amendments today. Call and urge a YES vote on each of these amendments. Also, call Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and ask them to have a vote on the Inhofe English amendment before the recess!
