We need your help. A dangerous anti-Electoral College bill is pending before the Rhode Island House of Representatives. This bill is currently pending in the Committee on Judiciary, but it could be voted out at any time.
Please call members of the committee and your state representative.
Tell them that you are OPPOSED to HB 7388, the National Popular Vote legislation.

HB 7388 would require Rhode Island to join an interstate compact, as proposed by the National Popular Vote organization. This compact would require Rhode Island to give all its presidential electors to the winner of the national popular vote, instead of the winner of Rhode Island’s state vote. If enough states agree to the plan, the Electoral College will be effectively eliminated.
HB 7388 is in great danger of passing in Rhode Island. Currently, a majority of the Senate and a majority of the House have agreed to be listed as sponsors on this legislation. It is important to make your voice heard before this dangerous bill becomes law.
