Eagle Forum PAC Endorses Alan Nunnelee in Mississippi's First Congressional District
Washington, D.C. — Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, is proud to endorse Congressman Alan Nunnelee in Mississippi's First Congressional District. "Alan Nunnelee has been an unrelenting champion for life, traditional marriage, fiscal restraint and constitutional conservatism throughout his years of service to the people of Missisippi," declared Schlafly. "We desperately need to protect stalwarts like him." "Nunnellee was one of only a few Members of Congress who received a high score on our legislative scorecard," Schlafly noted. "This means he had to take several difficult, but principled votes against leadership." "We share Congressman Nunnellee's frustration at the Senate's refusal to follow the House of Representatives' lead in passing important legislation to defund Planned Parenthood, overturn ObamaCare and to encourage jobs creation," said Schlafly. "As we work on taking back the Senate with conservatives, we need to protect conservatives like Alan Nunnelee, who don't just vote right, but take the lead in protecting our values and getting our nation back on track," Schlafly noted. "I urge all of our members and everyone who is concerned about protecting unborn life, traditional marriage and economic liberty to get out and vote for Alan Nunnelee in Tuesday's primary and on November 6th," Schlafly concluded.
