Amnesty Will Cost $6.3 Trillion!
Tell your Senators to Vote NO on Gang of Eight’s Amnesty Bill
May 6, 2013
Senators return to Washington this week, and the Gang of Eight is hard at work lobbying your Senators to vote for their terrible bill that weakens border security and, according to a report issued today by the Heritage Foundation, will cost taxpayers $6.3 trillion!
You might recall that Amnesty advocates tried to pass a similar bill in 2007, and Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation produced a study indicating that Amnesty would cost taxpayers $2.6 trillion. This bill will cost the taxpayers more than twice the amount of the 2007 bill.
Additionally, this bill not only does not strengthen, but it actually weakens border security.
Your Senators are being bombarded with visits from highly paid lobbyists and vocal Amnesty advocates. They need to hear from you and from all of your friends and family.

We need you to keep the calls coming! Tell your Senators to vote NO on the Gang of Eight’s Amnesty bill today!
Vote NO on Gang of Eight’s Amnesty Bill!
I urge you to take a stand against amnesty and ensure that any immigration reform must start with securing the borders. A recent Rasmussen Poll noted that even among amnesty supporters, 64% believe that the U.S. must secure its borders first.
Amnesty is not fiscally sustainable. Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation released an exhaustive analysis indicating that Amnesty would cost $6.3 trillion over the next 50 years. We need you to protect the American dream for all!
The American people deserve openness and transparency from their legislators. We urge you to take a stand against broad, sweeping legislation worked out in back rooms behind closed doors.
I will be watching your votes and will tell my friends and neighbors how you vote.
