An Opportunity to Fight Common Core

Stop Common CoreOn July 22, Common Core will be challenged during a live, interactive event at local movie theaters across the nation. Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, and others who are opposed to “top-down, one-size-fits-all solutions” and the loss of local control of education will join audience members to share strategies. “We Will Not Conform” is an opportunity to listen to experts and plan with others who are equally fed up with the establishment of an inferior set of standards that are difficult to ditch.

The event planners say, “By the end of the night, the brainpower, experience, and passion of thousands of people from around the country will be captured in a comprehensive, unified plan of action distributed to all participants.” FreedomWorks and David Barton are among those who will help facilitate the evening. A non-interactive repeat will be shown in theaters on the evening of July 29. To find local theaters hosting the event go to FathomEvents.com.
