Illegal Invasion Alert!

Dr. Jerry Corsi talked about some of the problems of and possible solutions for illegal immigration with Phyllis during the April 28 program. Dr. Corsi is a prolific writer who is published on World Net Daily and received his Ph. D. in Political Science from Harvard.

Dr. Corsi had come back the night before from a trip to El Salvador, where he attended an international convention that discussed anti-gang activity. This conference primarily covered MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang, which are both very dangerous groups. MS-13 is particularly notorious, and has been documented in 42 states.

This group, based in El Salvador, deals drugs, participates in drive-by shootings, and commits violence against women and children. MS-13 funds itself through theft and extortion, as well as drug dealing in the United States and arms and stolen car trade back in South America. Often likened to the Mafia, MS-13 has made it clear to the FBI that they are in America to stay.

The other main topic discussed is the plans for a North American Union. The state of Texas in particular has objected to a planned NAFTA superhighway, which would connect Mexico to Canada with a loosely-monitored interstate. Dr. Corsi found a resulting letter from the chief council for the Federal Highway Administrator threatening to cut transportation funding if a moratorium passes.

Phyllis and Dr. Corsi suggest working to make sure your state passes a resolution asking Congress to withdraw from the Security and Prosperity Partnership. For more information about this issue, visit www.eagleforum.org/topics/immigration. Podcast Phyllis Schlafly Live! Just go
