LIBERALS INTENSIFY EFFORTS TO "PICKLE PICKERING"
AT HIS SECOND HEARING
The Judiciary Committee's almost unprecedented second hearing for Judge Charles Pickering, Sr., designated for a seat on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, was an exercise in, to quote from Justice Antonin Scalia, "terminal silliness." An excellent synopsis of this fiasco has been reported by John Nowacki, Deputy Director of the Judicial Selection Monitoring Project at the Free Congress Foundation. Committee Democrats performed like so many puppets under the control of the radical left-wingers such as People for the American Way. There is still time for Americans who believe in constitutional government to counter this radical campaign to Pickle Pickering with our counter-attack to Promote Pickering.
