Washington, D.C.: Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, is proud to endorse Rhea Fulmer for District 7 of the Alabama Board of Education. Mrs. Schlafly released the following statement:
“If the people of Alabama want to end Common Core and restore traditional education, then they need state school board members who will back up their campaign promises with action. The Alabama State Board of Education should ensure that schools serve students and parents instead of bureaucrats and special interests.
“Rhea Fulmer is the right choice for the Alabama State Board of Education. She has been a strong conservative on the Lauderdale County Commission, and we know she will work alongside fellow conservatives to reclaim traditional education for Alabama children. Rhea is an outspoken opponent of Common Core and will fight for good state standards that reflect Alabama values. We can count on Rhea to do what she says.”
“Traditional education is under threat from all sides: from Washington, from business groups, from teachers’ unions. It needs strong defenders. In this election, Alabamians can choose an individual who understands the issues and is willing to roll up her sleeves and fight: Rhea Fulmer.”
Eagle Forum PAC supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
