Washington, D.C.: Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, is proud to endorse Stan Casacio to represent Pennsylvania’s 7th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mrs. Schlafly released the following statement:
“Stan Casacio will make a great congressman. He has been a longtime supporter of Eagle Forum and understands why the grassroots are so frustrated with the Republican majorities in Congress.
“During his three terms in the House, Pat Meehan has failed to lead against the progressive agenda. In the 114th Congress, he has only scored a 40% rating with Eagle Forum, and has scored as low or lower with other conservative organizations. Congressman Meehan supported the Obama-Boehner budget deal that lifted the caps on discretionary spending. He voted to let the District of Columbia strip conscience rights from pro-life groups. His positions on education, trade, and immigration are out of step with the grassroots.
“Stan Casacio knows that Congress needs to exercise its Article I authority in defense of the country. He is ready to fight for a secure border, smaller government, and a culture of life. He would go to Washington not as a career politician but as a citizen interested in serving the people. I hope voters in the 7th District give him the chance to do great things in Washington.”
Eagle Forum PAC supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
