THERE ARE MORE POLAR BEARS IN THE WORLD TODAY, NOT LESS. Our good friend and ally, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), has taken the initiative in rebutting the claims about global warming and its supposed effects on the environment. In response to the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service's recent action to begin formal consideration of whether to designate the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Sen. Inhofe stated that the polar bears are not at all endangered, but are more plentiful than they were 40 years ago! He stressed the need for conclusions about the bear populations to be based on actual field data, as opposed to hypothetical models, and he asked the Senate to consider the ramifications that climate change or greenhouse gas emissions law enforcement could have on private property rights.
