Court Brief: The Columbine High School Massacre One Year Later |
By: Virginia C. Armstrong, Ph.D., Nat'l. Court Watch Chairman April 30, 2001
It has been one year since the grizzly scenes of the Columbine High School massacre stunned and grieved the nation. Despite all the attention given to the problem of children killing children, the horror has continued. And the question still heard across the nation is, "Why?" It would be well for us, therefore, to ponder again the additional questions we raised in April, 2000:
As we grieve over the losses of Columbine High School and other seemingly inexplicable killings, perhaps we should also grieve that America's activist/liberal federal judges have sown the wind, but it is our children who are reaping the whirlwind. Surely it is time for us to CURB THE COURTS and reclaim our children and our country.
